Your Driving School is conveniently situated in Happy Valley. We offer driving lessons in automatic vehicles, and manual lessons are available if you bring your own insured and roadworthy car.
Our dedicated instructors, Dave and Alison, are committed to teaching you essential road rules and safe driving practices. With their enthusiasm for instruction, they guide students through diverse driving scenarios, different times of the day, and varying road conditions.
At Your Driving School, we focus on equipping students with effective driving techniques and key maneuvers needed for their practical driving test. We also offer specialized support for international students upgrading to a Queensland driver’s license, seniors looking to brush up on their driving knowledge, and anyone dealing with driving-related anxiety or learning challenges.

Your Driving School is nestled in the scenic Happy Valley. You’ll often find Dave or Alison conducting driving lessons, both day and night, in one of our automatic vehicles throughout your local neighborhoods, including: Your, Greenfield, Summit Ridge, Rivertown, Willow Creek, Brookhaven, Vista Hills, Seaside, Meadowview, Forest Glen, Oakridge, and Seaside. We can arrange pickup and drop-off from your home, school, workplace, or sports venue to ensure your experience is as convenient as possible.
We cover a range of locations from serene streets to bustling intersections, providing you with a comprehensive introduction to handling various traffic conditions. This approach ensures you are well-prepared to navigate all road scenarios with confidence.
Selecting a skilled instructor who emphasizes up-to-date road rules, safe driving practices, vehicle handling, hazard recognition, and real-world driving scenarios ensures that students develop these habits in a secure, controlled, and relaxed environment.

We offer tailored lessons designed to build your confidence behind the wheel, whether you’re a first-time learner or gearing up for your driving test.
In our initial sessions, we emphasize setting up the “personal driver position,” performing pre-drive safety checks, mastering vehicle controls, and recognizing potential hazards. This comprehensive approach also includes preparing you for your practical driving test. We recommend starting with a 2-hour intensive driving lesson to give you a solid foundation.
For new or anxious drivers, this extended lesson provides ample time to ease any nerves while we outline our goals and establish a plan for your driving journey.
It is imperative for students to develop the right mindset when operating a motor vehicle to ensure driving success. They must be trained to continuously observe the ever-changing traffic conditions, recognizing both present and potential hazards on the road.
Active vigilance is key, including consistently checking mirrors and blind spots, signaling appropriately, and staying alert to moving vehicles and pedestrians. Students must also practice making sound judgments, continually evaluating and re-evaluating their safety in various driving scenarios. Gaining experience in all weather conditions is equally essential, helping them build the confidence and skills required for safe driving.

Our vehicles are fitted with dual controls, so the student is 100% supported at all times in their driving lesson learning experience.
Dash cams are fitted both front and rear, for students’ safety, instructors’ safety and road safety.

If YES, or you have any symptoms no matter how minor, please cancel your lesson and seek further advice from your doctor/s and the appropriate health authorities.
Students:
Please bring your own mask with you on the driving lessons.
Please bring your drivers licence with you.
Please use the sanitiser placed in the drivers door for your use.
There will be disinfectant wipes in the car should you require them.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and get well.
Instructor:
The instructor will wipe down available surfaces, door handles, knobs, buttons and controls with disinfectant wipes after each student’s lessons.
Vehicle will be sprayed with Glen20 before each lesson.
Front drivers windows will be cracked open during each lesson for fresh external air flow + air conditioning will be set on open.
